私たちの正体
History:
Vertical Life Calvary Chapel (VLCC) is a vibrant expression of the Calvary Chapel movement, founded in the spirit of our mentor, Pastor Chuck Smith. Our journey began in 2011 in Japan as Christian Truth To Japan Missions (CTJM), a ministry dedicated to sharing the transformative truth of the Gospel. As we grew, we evolved into North Northeast Japan Fellowship (NNEJF), with CTJM becoming a valued sub-agency under its umbrella. This period solidified our commitment to building a strong spiritual community, culminating in the establishment of Calvary Chapel Misawa (CCM). To better serve our community and distinguish ourselves among similar congregations, we adopted the name Vertical Life Calvary Chapel (VLCC), in result renaming CTJM to Vertical Life Group (VLG) as our compassionate outreach agency. Guided by our motto, "Vertical Relationship, Horizontal Love," and inspired by Exodus 33:18, we strive to cultivate a deep relationship with God while extending His unwavering love to all we serve.

What We Believe:
About God:
God in and of Himself is infinite in glory and perfection; all-sufficient through selfless "agape" love. Genesis 1:1 He created all time, space, & matter in that sequence therefore is greater than (beyond) while holding all of these aspects of reality in the palm of His hand. Psalm 119:68 shows God & His ways are always "good". God desires we imitate His character aspects of love in our daily life since love is His center, Mark 12:30-31.
About Jesus Christ:
Jesus is God in human flesh (John 1:1), He is the Son in the Trinity which is God. Christ is Koine Greek "Christos" which means "anointed one". "Christ" is the Greek word for Hebrew "Messiah"- anointed one. Jesus is our friend, & Lord who came to save in love, not condemn, John 3:16-17.
About the Holy Spirit:
Genesis 1:1-2 shows the Holy Spirit is very present as part of the Trinity which is God. His Person & activities revolve around being "the Helper" & "Comforter", John 14:16 & 15:26-27. He very much is our direct access point of God into our lives as we are His temple upon receiving our salvation relationship, 1 Corinthians 6:19-20.
About Sin:
Sin is an archery term for the measured distance you missed the "bullseye" center mark to your arrow. Romans 3:23 Biblical sin shows that everyone commits sins, crimes against self, others, & God. Romans 6:23 shows that the wages of our sin is death, but that Jesus overcame this punishment on the cross. Ephesians 4:22-24 shows us the process of taking off our old bad ways, to be renewed, & then put on the opposite right actions. Eph. 4:25 put off lying to put on telling truth, 4:28 putting off stealing to put on working hard & giving, etc. Eph.2:8-9 shows we are saved through God alone, not by removing our bad sins, BUT Eph. 2:10 shows we were created to do good not the evil so we are to transition through being Eph. 1:10 "In Christ" to doing what is right instead of sin.
About Salvation:
1.Genesis 3:15 is the first promise of God coming as the Messiah (Jesus) through a virgin women's birthing (Isaiah 7:14) to overcome our relationship that was broken through initial sin by our ancestors recorded in Genesis 3 by eating the forbidden fruit.
2. The Messiah lived a sinless life, died as legal replacement instead of us (John 19:30), covering for all sins at all locations & time at once as Jesus is God omnipresent superior than the Genesis 1:1 declared created time, space, & matter.
3. In Jesus' resurrection we saw justification had occurred, therefore through having relationship with Jesus we can ride His sacrificial works into salvation (Galatians 2:16). Eph. 1:10 "In Christ" through Eph. 2:8-10 salvation method & purpose for us shown. Via a true relationship in Christ through repentance (turning around to Him) we can enter into this personal Salvation through His work.
About the Bible:
The Bible in its' original writings are the Scriptures of the Old & New Testament having been given by divine inspiration, it is the only flawless rule of faith and daily living, 2 Timothy 3:15-17. It has been preserved by God to be our: B asic I nstructions B efore L eaving E arth.
About The Church:
The Church is always singular in the Bible's original language (1 Corinthians 12:12 & 27), since it is composed of those who are the "cells" that make up the body of the 'Bride Of Christ' (Romans 12:4-5, Ephesians 5:25 & 32). The Messiah opens the way & romance's us in love, we respond by choosing Him back (Ephesians 1:13). The term "churches" is an incorrect vernacular, since there is really only one Church which is the Bride Of Christ. There is only "the Church at..." describers for local congregations in the Bible's original language as our designator to be part of the overall worldwide true Church.
About Eschatology:
Eschatology roughly translated means study of last/end things. In the Bible normally we refer to it as the study of the End Times. God's goal through the End Times is to help many in a very difficult generation to get saved while He wraps up the impact of sin on us all, as seen in the book of Revelation as God sends out prophets, evangelists, & even Angels to proclaim about Himself to mankind.
Antichrist: The Antichrist will be the main figure through a segment of the End Times, who later will be possessed by Satan himself (Revelation 13:4). He will be a false-Messiah figure deceiving many, 1 John 2:18.
2nd Coming Of Christ: This happens at the end of the 7 year tribulation period, Revelation 19:11-16.
Millennial Reign of Christ on Earth: Jesus after setting foot back on the Earth will physically reign as King for 1000 years with Satan bound allowing for many to come to salvation through a very blessed means until Satan's initial 1000 year jail sentence is finished, Revelation 20:1-3.
New Heavens & New Earth: Revelation 21 shows that in the End all things will become flawless, better, & old made new. Heaven attached to the New Earth itself.
About Eternal Security:
God is eternal (Isaiah 40:28) & my salvation is based on Him alone, Eph. 2:8-9. Therefore my security (me feeling safe) relies on me being in relationship with Him, John 10:27-30, not by my own works or efforts since He already accepts me as a Rom. 3:23 mess-up.

バーティカル ライフ カルバリー チャペル (VLCC) は、私たちの指導者であるチャック スミス牧師の精神に基づいて設立されたカルバリー チャペル運動を活気に満ちた表現です。私たちの旅は、福音の変革的な真理を分かち合うことに専念する宣教活動であるキリスト教真理日本宣教団（CTJM）として、2011年に日本で始まりました。 私たちが成長するにつれて、私たちはNorth Northeast Japan Fellowship (NNEJF)へと発展し、CTJMはその傘下の重要な下部機関となりました。この期間は、強力な精神的コミュニティを構築するという私たちの取り組みを強化し、カルバリーチャペルミサワ（CCM）の設立で最高潮に達しました。私たちのコミュニティによりよく奉仕し、同様の会衆の中で自分たちを区別するために、私たちはバーティカル ライフ カルバリー チャペル (VLCC) という名前を採用し、その結果、CTJM を思いやりのある支援機関としてバーティカル ライフ グループ (VLG) に名前変更しました。私たちのモットーである「縦の関係、横の愛」に導かれ、出エジプト記 33:18 に触発されて、私たちは神との深い関係を育みながら、私たちが奉仕するすべての人に神の揺るぎない愛を差し伸べるように努めています。
神様についつい:
神はそれ自体、栄光と完全性において無限です。無私無欲の「アガペー」愛によってすべてが満たされます。創世記 1:1 神はその順序ですべての時間、空間、物質を創造されたため、現実のこれらすべての側面を手のひらに収めながら、それを超えたものになります。詩篇 119:68 は、神と神の道は常に「善い」ものであることを示しています。神は、愛が神の中心であるため、私たちが日常生活の中で愛の性質的な側面に倣うことを望んでおられます（マルコ12：30-31）。
エイス・キリストについて:
イエスは人間の肉体を持った神であり（ヨハネ 1:1）、神である三位一体における御子です。キリストはコイネ・ギリシャ語の「クリストス」で、「油注がれた者」を意味します。 「キリスト」はヘブライ語の「メシア」、すなわち油注がれた者を意味するギリシャ語です。イエスは私たちの友人であり、罪に定めるのではなく、愛によって救うために来られた主です（ヨハネ 3:16-17）。
聖霊について:
創世記 1:1-2 は、聖霊が神である三位一体の一部として臨在していることを示しています。彼の人格と活動は、「助け主」と「慰め主」であることを中心に展開しています（ヨハネ 14:16 と 15:26-27）。私たちが救いの関係を受け取ったときの神の神殿であるように、イエスはまさに私たちの人生への神への直接のアクセスポイントです（1コリント6：19-20）。
罪について:
罪とは、アーチェリー用語で、矢までの「的」の中心マークを外した測定距離を指します。ローマ人への手紙 3:23 聖書の罪は、誰もが自分、他人、そして神に対して罪を犯していることを示しています。ローマ人への手紙 6:23 は、私たちの罪の代償は死ですが、イエスが十字架でこの刑罰を克服されたことを示しています。エペソ人への手紙 4:22-24 は、古い悪いやり方を脱ぎ捨てて新しくなり、それから反対の正しい行動に移す過程を示しています。エペソ4:25 真実を語るために嘘をやめ、 4:28 一生懸命働き、与えるために盗みをやめなさい、など。 2:10 は、私たちが悪ではなく善を行うように創造されたので、であることを経て移行することを示しています。 エペソ1:10 「キリストにあって」、罪の代わりに正しいことを行うことです。
救いについて:
1. 創世記 3:15 は、創世記 3 章に記録されている私たちの先祖が禁断の木の実を食べることによって原罪によって打ち砕かれた私たちの関係を克服するために、処女の女性の出産 (イザヤ書 7:14) を通して神がメシア (イエス) として来られるという最初の約束です。
2. メシアは罪のない生涯を送り、私たちの代わりに法的な代理として亡くなり（ヨハネ19:30）、イエスは創世記1:1で創造されたと宣言された時間、空間、物質よりも優れた遍在の神であるため、あらゆる場所と時間ですべての罪を一度にカバーしました。
3. イエスの復活において、私たちは義とされることが起こったのを見たので、イエスとの関係を持つことによって、私たちはイエスの犠牲の業に乗って救いに至ることができます（ガラテヤ 2:16）。エペソ1:10 「キリストにあって」エペソを通して。 2:8-10に私たちの救いの方法と目的が示されています。悔い改め（キリストに立ち返ること）を通してキリストにある真の関係を介して、私たちはキリストの働きを通じてこの個人的な救いに入ることができます。
聖書について:
聖書の原文は、神の霊感によって与えられた旧約聖書と新約聖書の聖書であり、信仰と日常生活に関する唯一の完璧な規則です（テモテ第二 3:15-17）。それは神によって私たちのものとして保存されています。 地球を離れる前の基本的な指示。(BIBLE=Basic Instructions Before Leaving Earth )
教会について:
教会は、「キリストの花嫁」の体を構成する「細胞」である人々で構成されているため（ローマ人への手紙 12:4-5、エペソ人への手紙 5:25 & 32）、聖書の原語では常に単数形です（Ⅰコリント 12:12 & 27）。メシアが道を開いてくださり、私たちは恋に落ち、私たちはメシアを選び返すことで応えます(エペソ1:13)。キリストの花嫁である教会は実際には一つしか存在しないため、「教会(複数形)」という用語は誤った俗語です。聖書の原語では、世界全体の真の教会の一部である私たちの指定者として、地元の会衆を表すのは「...の教会」だけです。
終末論について：
終末論とは、大まかに訳すと、最後/終わりの事柄の研究を意味します。聖書では通常、それを終末の研究と呼んでいます。終わりの時における神の目標は、神が預言者、伝道者、さらには天使を遣わして人類に御自身のことを宣べ伝えていることが黙示録に見られるように、神が私たち全員に対する罪の影響を解決しながら、非常に困難な世代にある多くの人々が救われるよう助けることです。
反キリスト: 反キリストは終わりの時代の一部を通じて主要人物となり、後にサタン自身に憑依されます(黙示録 13:4)。彼は多くの人を欺く偽メシアのような人物になるでしょう, 1ヨハネ 2:18。
キリストの再臨: これは 7 年間の患難時代の終わりに起こります (黙示録 19:11-16)。
地球におけるキリストの千年統治: イエスは地球に戻った後、サタンの最初の1000年の懲役が終わるまで、サタンが結ばれて1000年間物理的に王として統治し、多くの人が非常に祝福された手段で救いに到達できるようにするでしょう、黙示録20:1-3。
新しい天と新しい地: 黙示録 21 章は、最終的にはすべてのものは完璧になり、より良くなり、古いものが新しくなるということを示しています。天国は新しい地球自体に付属しています。
永遠の保証について:
